Milk Products is seeking a National Account Manager for the growing Lifestyle business segment. Qualified candidates will possess thorough knowledge of agricultural sales and retail merchandising. Successful candidates must have four or more years experience in field sales or merchandising and be able to interact positively with purchasing agents, feed company and dealer sales force, and farm & ranch retail managers throughout all parts of region. Feed industry and farm & ranch retail familiarity a must. Animal nutrition and management knowledge for several species including, but not limited to calves, foals, goat kids, and lambs is a plus.
We prefer a college degree in business, marketing, agriculture, or related field. Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills are required. Qualified candidates must be accurate and detail oriented, and proficient in Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and Excel computer software programs. A positive, proactive approach to serving our internal and external customers is critical in this role. Employees must be able to work independently and to prioritize workload that includes strategic account sales management, daily and monthly tasks, and multiple projects. Strong negotiating skills are required and 75-80% U.S. travel is expected. Relocation to Central U.S., convenient to an airport is required. Candidates must be able to work independently and prioritize workload.
